I'll be honest, I really don't have an explanation as to why that's happened. Before at least some people had given answers, but this time I haven't seen a lot of people really talk about that. Most people just write this section of genesis off as a bunch of hard to pronounce words. But there's more to it than that.

One thing I like to do, is I have a bible that's translated directly from the Jewish text, instead of how most bibles are translated from the Greek Translation of the Jewish translation. This gets a little but closer to the original writing, but the names can be a little strange. Sure there are some that aren't bad like Jesus's hebrew name being Yeshua, but then there are some funny ones, like how Solomon's hebrew name, is shlomo.

I'll see if I can pretty soon. You can find copies of the complete jewish bible that also has the king James version right next to it, making it easy to compare verses. These usually go for about 20$ in hardback, and it's worth the price.

my theory on Noah's Ark was that when it was stated two of every kind of animal would go onto the ark, God meant to of every breed of animal...
a breed is a kind of animal
take a look at dog breeds for example
there are many kinds of dogs. each breed is different a different kind of dog.. two of every kind of animal could've easily referenced two of every different breed of animal in existence at the time
it makes sense to me then, that God had two of every breed of animal that existed back then ordered to be placed on the ark.
