What I'm about to say is a bit on the controversial side.. But please hear me out Halloween isn't some satanic holiday. "Oh, but Kat..." I hear you thinking as you read this skeptically "aren't you aware of the satanic origin with the druids?"
That's not actually how Halloween started. That's a myth Halloween started off as a squash festival
I think we need to stop panicking about Halloween. It's a candy makers holiday. I personally don't like Halloween all that much, but that doesn't make it evil
Psalm 118:24 (KJV) 24 This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.
Does that say all except October 31st is included? Certainly not God created that day to. We should rejoice and be glad in it I think instead of panicking, we should probably use Halloween to get the message of Christ out there They come to us on Halloween. Slip in some tracts with the candy
It's the easiest day of the year to tell people about Jesus, and what do Christians do instead?
Panic about a supposed past Halloween had that it never actually originated from. *slow claps* got to hand it to the panickers. They sure do know how to panic over nothing
Even if Halloween did originate from the druids(and it didn't), that's not what it is today. The panic is needless Let the kids have their candy, and give them some tracts instead of complaining that the people of the world come to your door once a year to get candy and possibly hear the gospel. You have a day to easily get the gospel out each year. Please use it instead of getting upset it exists
