So, you're scared of going against a majority even though you disagree with them. You don't think you should stand up because you will be ridiculed and criticized if you do. The majority isn't always right. Democrats winning the elections prove it to be true(granted, some democratic votes come from cemeteries)
This is for those of you out there scared of going against majority's but don't agree with what the majority says
I want you to visualize something for me.
Imagine you and the majority group are standing right next to the edge of a very tall cliff, but here's the kicker. You're the leader, the guy who makes decisions and so forth
Anyway, now imagine the group you lead start saying it's a fantastic idea to jump off the cliff. You don't want to, yet something inside says go with the majority. Common sense screams at you that you really shouldn't go with them off the cliff, but the majority is being pushy and soon starts coming up with reasons why you should. As you still ponder whether or not to jump off the cliff, the majority begins criticizing and belittling you for not being brave enough to jump to your death
Keep in mind you have access to ZERO safety gear or even a parachute to go over that cliff
What the majority states seems to make sense, but common sense dictates you really shouldn't jump off the cliff
If you go with the majority in this worst case scenario you'll die. If you don't you'll probably lose your "followers" who will jump anyway like a bunch of lemmings.
Next time you're scared of not following the majority, remember the scenario I stated. You don't actually have to follow the majority because of criticism. Don't go jumping off of cliffs because the majority thinks you ought to XD
Exodus 23:2-3 KJV
2 Thou shalt not follow a multitude to do evil; neither shalt thou speak in a cause to decline after many to wrest judgment :
3 Neither shalt thou countenance a poor man in his cause.
