Psalm 13:2 King James Version (KJV)
2 How long shall I take counsel in my soul, having sorrow in my heart daily? how long shall mine enemy be exalted over me?

These are my thoughts.
God has forgotten us but He has a plan, we should seek Him to find His plan of what we are to do.
Sadness comes but the Lord can be our joy.
Jesus has already defeated the enemy and will for good, we need to let Him fight for us.
