Note: This was originally aimed at a group of people on a different forum who were calling me hateful for not accepting the agenda. People were calling me hateful for disagreeing, demanding my tolerance while refusing to tolerate, name calling and acting like I was a bad person because I had the audacity to say that DNA dictates gender and feelings have nothing to do with it.
This post is satirical in nature to make a point.
Dear Transgenders,
I have come to a realization that you are correct and that only feelings are facts
And because of this I have come to some interesting conclusions about myself
You see, for quite some time, I have meowed at people. Because of this, I feel I am a cat. My feelings completely dictate that I'm a cat in a human body, and since you have established that feelings trump DNA, it makes perfect sense that I am truly a cat
However, there's more. I also self identify as a millionaire. My bank account dictates otherwise, so I have come to the conclusion that my bank account is filled with hate, and I will hire a lawyer with money my bank account dictates I don't have to sue my hate filled bank account
Since you have made it very clear that you think it's hateful to disagree with you, I expect you will tolerate my feelings.. No, I demand my feelings get tolerated and treated as 100% fact. From now on, my preferred name is Twinkles, and I'm a kitten in the incorrect species. The fact that this makes others uncomfortable is not my problem. I don't care because the world revolves around my feelings. Anyone who disagrees is clearly very hateful. I came to this conclusion with your own logic, so you can't say I'm wrong. If you do say I'm wrong you might have to acknowledge that you're incorrect, and no one wants that. After all, feelings dictate facts, am I right?

Sure, they may deserve a weird eye or two but they are still human like us. I also want to say the reason I don't feel the need to call them out is because of Matthew 7:1.  Amen. |

An interesting selection of scripture, Mate...
Let's look at that passage a bit farther:
Matthew 7 King James Version (KJV)
1 Judge not, that ye be not judged.
2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.
3 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?
4 Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?
5 Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.
6 Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.
When you look at it you will find that it is an recommendation to keep short
accounts with God. Not that you shouldn't let people know that they are going
against God's will. You keep yourself close to God, and then let them know.
A quick look at the Gospel of John brings another thought to mind:
23 If a man on the sabbath day receive circumcision, that the law of Moses should not be broken; are ye angry at me, because I have made a man every whit whole on the sabbath day?
24 Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.
looking especially at verse 24... we don't judge people's
intrinsic worth or their salvation standing with God.
We are however, allowed to judge their actions, in the light of
God's mercy.
From there, we can remember that we have been commanded to preach
the Gospel to all.

In this age of tolerance, and acceptance, I can totally accept that as fact. If feelings trump DNA, I see no reason why you can't be a helicopter
